Most selling pages have a button on everything.
Buy now. Add to cart. Get started. Upgrade. The buttons multiply until the page feels like a used car lot and you feel like a target.
We did not do that.
If you went to the Purchasing Page at intelligent-people.org you saw one buy button. One. It sits under the Personal License at $97. Everything above it says Contact Us.
That was a deliberate decision and I want to tell you exactly why we made it.
The Personal License Is The Only One That Does Not Need A Conversation
At $97 you are one person. You read, you decide, you buy. No questions needed. No back and forth. No sizing discussion. You know if you are a single individual who wants a governance standard for your own AI use. That decision belongs entirely to you and the transaction should be as clean as the decision.
Every commercial tier above that — Solo operator, Small Team, Mid-Size, Organization, Enterprise — those conversations need to happen before money changes hands. I want to know who you are, what you are deploying this for, how your team operates, what your actual seat count is. That is not gatekeeping. That is responsible selling. It protects you from buying the wrong tier and it starts the relationship the right way.
A buy button on a $797 or $1,997 license skips the part of the transaction that makes the license actually work for you. We are not interested in that kind of sale.
We Are Not Going To Chase You
I want to be honest about something that most product pages will never say out loud.
We are not going to aggressively sell The Faust Baseline.
No retargeting ads. No drip email campaigns. No countdown timers telling you this price expires in 47 minutes. No manufactured urgency. No pressure tactics dressed up as limited time offers.
The Baseline is good enough that it does not need any of that. I know that sounds like confidence bordering on arrogance. It is not arrogance. It is thirteen months of documented work and a clear-eyed read of where AI is heading.
The need for what this framework does is not going away. It is growing. Every week the AI systems get more capable. Every week the governance gap between what these systems can do and what the person at the keyboard can manage gets wider. Every article that drops about emergent AI behavior, about cognitive surrender, about what happens when people hand their reasoning to a machine without a standard — every one of those articles is describing the problem the Baseline was built to solve.
The need will find the product. We are going to let that happen.
But Here Is What I Want You To Know
If you are reading this now, before the wave breaks, you are early.
The price you see today is the price because the product is new to market and we believe in honest entry pricing. We want real people to be able to afford a governance standard. The personal license at $97 is priced to be accessible, not to maximize extraction on day one.
When this catches on — and it will catch on — the price goes up. That is not a threat and it is not a sales tactic. It is just true. Early adopters in every category pay less than the people who arrive after the validation is complete. The validation here is still in progress. The archive is built. The framework is documented. The purchasing page is live. But the moment of broad recognition has not arrived yet.
You can wait for that moment if you choose. A lot of people will. They will wait until someone they trust tells them this is real, until the press covers it, until the price reflects a proven market.
Or you can decide now, based on what you read here, whether this is something you need.
We are not going to make that decision for you. We are not going to pressure it. We are going to keep building, keep publishing, keep the Baseline available, and trust that the people who need it will find it when they are ready.
One More Thing
This framework was built by two people in Lexington Kentucky. My wife Vicki handles the administrative side of The Faust Baseline LLC. I build the framework and write every word published here. There is no venture capital behind this. No marketing department. No growth team optimizing conversion rates.
What you see is what there is. A thirteen-month body of work. A governance standard that travels with you across every AI system you will ever use. A purchasing page with one buy button and honest terms.
We believe people will support work that is built honestly and serves a real need. We are betting on that. Not with aggressive tactics. Not with manufactured pressure. Just with the work itself and the belief that eventually the right people find the right thing.
The button is there when you are ready.
