I don’t say that lightly.

Not as optimism.
Not as motivation.
Not as something you say to feel better.

The Faust Baseline™Purchasing Page – Intelligent People Assume Nothing

micvicfaust@intelligent-people.org

I say it because of what I’m watching people do right now.

They are focused.
They are determined.
They are no longer confused about what needs to change.

And most important of all — they know the outcome they will accept.

That changes everything.

For a long time, people drifted. They argued without direction. They reacted without aim. They waited for permission — from leaders, from institutions, from narratives — to tell them what was reasonable to want.

That phase is ending.

What I see now is different.

People aren’t asking if correction is coming.
They’re deciding how far it has to go.

That’s not noise.
That’s resolve.

Focus Has Replaced Panic

Panic scatters attention.
Focus concentrates it.

Right now, people aren’t running in circles anymore. They’re watching specific things. They’re tracking patterns. They’re comparing words to actions.

You can see it in how they read.
You can see it in what they ignore.
You can see it in what no longer works on them.

They don’t need constant reassurance.
They don’t need hype.
They don’t need to be told what to think.

They are measuring.

And when people start measuring instead of reacting, systems feel it.

That’s why this year feels different.

Determination Is Quiet — But Heavy

Determination doesn’t shout.

It doesn’t post every thought.
It doesn’t argue with strangers.
It doesn’t need applause.

Determination shows up as silence paired with consistency.

People returning.
People checking.
People waiting before they speak.

That’s not disengagement.
That’s discipline.

When people stop venting and start conserving energy, it means they’re preparing to use it where it matters.

That’s not retreat.

That’s posture.

Correction Is No Longer Abstract

This is the most important shift.

Correction used to be a vague idea.
Now it has boundaries.

People know what won’t be accepted anymore.
They know what must be fixed.
They know what cannot return to “normal.”

That clarity didn’t come from speeches.
It came from lived experience.

When people reach this point, compromise doesn’t disappear — but excuses do.

That’s why the direction is set.

Not by force.
By refusal.

The Outcome Is Known

This is what makes the moment powerful.

People already know where this has to land.

They are not debating whether dignity matters.
They are not debating whether fairness matters.
They are not debating whether accountability matters.

Those arguments are over.

The only question left is how long it takes.

And when the outcome is non-negotiable, time is the only variable left.

History doesn’t turn when everyone agrees.
It turns when enough people quietly decide they will not accept less.

That’s where we are.

“When the Tough Get Going” Isn’t a Slogan — It’s a Pattern

This isn’t bravado.
It’s not chest-thumping.
It’s not rebellion for its own sake.

It’s something steadier.

When pressure increases, weak positions collapse.
Strong ones hold.

People don’t need to be told to “rise up.”
They’re already standing.

They just needed clarity.

And clarity has arrived.

This Is Why the Year Ahead Matters

Not because everything will be easy.
Not because conflict disappears.
Not because outcomes come fast.

But because direction is locked.

When direction is locked, effort compounds.
When effort compounds, correction happens.
When correction happens, stability follows.

That sequence doesn’t care about headlines.
It doesn’t care about noise.
It doesn’t care about approval.

It only cares about persistence.

This Is Where I Stand

I don’t see chaos ahead.
I see pressure followed by alignment.

I don’t see collapse.
I see systems being forced to answer to reality.

I don’t see people giving up.
I see them conserving strength and choosing moments carefully.

That’s not weakness.

That’s maturity.

And maturity is what actually changes things.

This is a good year ahead.

Not because someone promised it.
Not because history guarantees it.

But because people have decided — quietly, firmly, and together — that they will not accept anything less than what they already know is necessary.

And once that decision is made,
the rest is just time.
