A Clear, Mission-Aligned Pricing Framework

The Faust Baseline™ was never built to become another subscription engine or an exploitative business model.
It is a moral and operational methodology, not a product that promises results, outcomes, or perfection.

Because of that, our licensing structure is simple:

No subscriptions.
No monthly billing.
No usage fees.
No “AI milk money.”

Companies pay one time for evaluation rights
and one time for Lifetime Permission of Use.

Nothing hidden.
Nothing recurring.
Nothing tied to their success or failure.

This honors our mission and protects our integrity.

Step 1 — Evaluation License ($15,000)

Before any organization can receive the full Codex or pursue a commercial license, they must purchase the Evaluation License.

This provides:

  • A full review copy of the Baseline
  • The right to internally study, assess, and test the methodology
  • 60 days of evaluation access
  • Permission to discuss the Baseline with internal teams and decision makers

This step filters out unserious inquiries and protects us from misuse.

It also ensures we do not waste time or dilute the value of the system.

Step 2 — Ballpark Pricing Before Commitment

No company is expected to pay the evaluation fee blind.

Before they purchase the evaluation license, we provide:

  • a ballpark range
  • based on industry, scale, and risk category

This prevents sticker shock and keeps the process honest.

They know whether the Baseline fits their world
before they invest in evaluation.

Step 3 — Lifetime Permission of Use

Once a company completes its evaluation and wishes to adopt the Baseline, they may purchase a Lifetime Permission of Use license.

This license is permanent, non-exclusive, and tied to their organization.

Pricing depends on risk category:

Low-Risk Category

Internal tools, small organizations, non-public systems
Ballpark: $50,000 – $150,000

Low-risk clients have minimal downstream exposure.
They use the Baseline internally to improve reasoning stability, tone consistency, communication, or ethical alignment.

These licenses are priced to ensure accessibility without devaluing the system.

Moderate-Risk Category

Customer-facing systems, scaling companies, tools with public impact potential
Ballpark: $150,000 – $400,000

Moderate-risk clients deploy models or workflows seen by customers or external users.
They carry real brand or reputational risk and need a stronger moral infrastructure layer.

This bracket ensures responsible adoption.

High-Risk Category

Legal tools, public-impact systems, compliance-sensitive industries, government-adjacent technologies
Ballpark: $500,000+

These organizations operate in environments where misinterpretation, tone failure, or ethical drift can cause real harm.

They require the highest level of review, support, and risk consideration.
Pricing reflects:

  • their legal exposure
  • their regulatory footprint
  • the potential reach of their systems
  • the ethical weight of their deployment

This is where the Faust Baseline™ is most valuable —
and where it must be handled with the greatest seriousness.

Step 4 — No Guarantee of Outcomes

To protect both parties, all commercial licenses explicitly state:

  • No guarantee of accuracy
  • No guarantee of correct outputs
  • No guarantee of legal compliance
  • No guarantee of safety outcomes
  • No promise of perfection

The Baseline is a methodology, not a results instrument.

Users retain full responsibility for their decisions and outputs.

This protects us from liability
and keeps the Baseline morally clean.

Step 5 — Upgrades (Optional)

When future editions of the Codex are released, upgrades may be purchased separately.
There is no requirement to upgrade.

No renewals.
No forced migrations.
No recurring costs.

Why We Chose This Structure

Because moral infrastructure should not be monetized like software.

Because trust is more important than revenue.

Because the Baseline is meant to guide humanity-scale systems —
not become another profit engine disguised as ethics.

The pricing is fair, transparent, and aligned with the weight of responsibility carried by each category.

Evaluation: $15,000
Lifetime License: risk-based, one-time fee
No subscriptions.
No guarantees.
No exploitation.
Mission first.
Integrity always.
